About your Teacher
Sheena Groome has more than fifteen years teaching experience including French and German to Ordinary and Higher Level second-level students throughout county Kildare and lecturing to third level students and Adults in Scoil Mhuire Clane, N.C.I. Dublin and I.T Tallaght.
I have lived, studied and worked in French speaking Belgium, Germany and German speaking Switzerland all of which led to me being extremely fluent in both French and German.
I have also been employed as a translator of customs Documentation for Price Waterhouse Coopers and as Education Co-Ordinator and Head Teacher in the Racing Academy and Centre of Education.
My qualifications include an honours B.A in French and German from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in German Literature also from Trinity College.
I have received training from the Irish Sports Council in Child Protection and am Garda vetted by Kildare VEC. I am also an experienced, trained one-to-one tutor of French, German and Adult Literacy.
Based In Monasterevin, County Kildare, grinds cost 30 euros per hour but by arrangement I am also willing to travel to the areas of Kildare town, Newbridge, Kilcullen, Naas, Portarlington or Portlaoise at a small extra charge of 5 euros to give grinds in your home and will design our lessons to meet your learning needs.
